How often do I need to upgrade Medisoft?
There’s no requirement for when you must upgrade, unless there’s been an industry wide change in the billing format which would only be included in the latest versions.
What if I need a report that is not available in Medisoft?
If you have a unique report request that is not contained in the extensive list of reports, We can customize your report (there is a service fee per report design).
Can I keep copies of patient insurance cards, X-Rays, and other documents in the patient chart?
Yes, you can attach scanned copies of anything to a patient file.
Will Medisoft print paper claims?
Yes. In addition to the electronic claims option, you can print your claims on a pre-printed Claim form, or choose an option to print to regular paper and have the software create the form.
Can I install Medisoft on my personal laptop and on my office computer?
This practice was allowed with previous versions, but if you are upgrading to a later version, you are now required to purchase 2 licenses in order to do that. You are able to access Medisoft from multiple devices and multiple locations with a single license on our cloud version.
Can I schedule patient appointments in Medisoft?
Not in Medisoft, but there is an accompanying software called Office Hours for scheduling appointments that comes with every version of Medisoft.
